I dreamt the fathers and mothers, all the wishes and prayers,
Washed away in despair,

I watched as tunnels and bridges, machine guns and ditches,
Flew through the air, leading nowhere,
All the toys and games gone in flames,
The telephone wires erupted in fires,

As I watched out the window as the sky lit up,
I felt a change inside of me and then I woke up,
I lay in my bed as still as the ground,
When I heard far away a very small sound,

It sounded like a shofar and the message it was sending,
Was telling us all that the exile is ending.
